The laboratory has the following equipment:

• Mahr-Perthem (Inspection Grade)  surface roughness testing machine; 
• three surface testing machines (workshop grade);
• Carl Zeiss Jena shape accuracy testing machine; 
• several sets of slip gauges and sine bars; 
• basic hand tools for gauging and measuring; 
• magnetic dial gauges for roundness,
• concentricity, and parallelism.
