The Clean Energy Research Centre (CERC), University of Botswana, in conjunction with Solar Industries Association of Botswana (SIAB), invites you to a three-day technical training on Solar Water Heaters which will be held on March 2 – 4, 2020 at UB main library seminar room. The purpose of this course is to train experts who will be able to understand solar water heating systems, design, build and Install such systems.
This training, organised by SOLTRAIN IV project, is funded by Austrian Development Cooperation and Co-Funded by OFID, with Botswana as one of the six (6) partner countries. The funding covers registration, workshop materials, tea/lunch and certificate (to successful participants only).
Targeted participants include staff of University of Botswana and other tertiary/research institutions, staff of companies who are stakeholders in solar thermal systems, staff from vocational institutions, as well as technical experts from utilities, governmental bodies and housing developers. Intending participants are to respond to the Director, CERC, University of Botswana at cerc@ub.ac.bw latest Friday 28 February 2020 by 12 noon.
