INVITATION TO TENDER

The University of Botswana invites 100% citizen owned  locally registered companies to submit proposals for the below named tender.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

1.   Bidders should be registered with the Public Procurement and Regulatory Authority in the following categories: 

                                                      Grade Code: 139 –Miscellaneous Services

                                                           Sub code(s): 12 Florist Services AND

                                                              24 Interior Design and Decor                                 

2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate number and Tax Identification Number (TIN) or exemption thereof issued by BURS. Such validity of the Tax Clearance is subject to online registration verification. In case of joint ventures, all partners must comply.
3. Duly completed and signed Declaration Form for Tendering Purposes (T2.2 GM)
4. Duly completed and signed Integrity Agreement Form
5. Duly completed and signed form of Authority and signatory
6. Duly completed and signed form of Offer and Acceptance (T2.2GA)
7. Certificate of Incorporation with Company extracts showing Company Directors and Shareholders together with certified copies of ID, s for Directors, Shareholders and Beneficial owners. CIPA Registration is Subject to online registration verification
8. In case of Joint ventures and associations between 100% citizen owned firms, a legally binding intent to the joint venture/ association agreement, stating the lead company in such joint venture, must be submitted. And fully complete the attached joint venture form (if applicable)

9. A compulsory pre-tender meeting with representatives of the Department of Academic Services will take place at the University of Botswana Indoor on the 11th September 2026. Tenderers must assemble by the entrance at 1000HRS for registration. Tender clarification and site visit meeting to be held at 1030hours. Registration shall be closed at 1030hours

10. Proof of payment for the tender document

In order to receive the RFP document, interested companies must follow the below steps;

1. Click on the payment button shown at the end of this advert. (Nonrefundable tender  fee is P500.00 (Vat Inclusive)
2. Follow the on-screen steps to complete payment for the tender.
3. The tender document will be automatically sent to your email once payment has been approved.

NB: If for any reason during the tender period it becomes necessary to vary the Tender Documents, an Addendum will be published in the website: https://www.ub.bw/connect/tenders   as and when such amendments are made. It is the sole responsibility of the bidders who have purchased the tender document from the website to keep themselves abreast of such amendments by continuously checking the website before submitting the tender document.
