INVITATION TO TENDER

The University of Botswana invites 100% citizen owned  locally registered companies to submit proposals for the below named tender.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. This Tender is strictly reserved for 100% citizen owned, locally domiciled companies who are registered with PPRA under code 132 Cleaning Services Sub Code 01 Building Cleaning Services including windows, Carpets and others. This will be verified from IPMS portal.
2. CIPA Extract with Certificate of Incorporation and information showing details of directors and shareholders. Submit certified copies of IDs (Omang) of directors and shareholders.
3. Office physical address with proof of ownership or signed lease agreement. (Letters of intent to lease will not be accepted).
4.  Copy of Valid Tax Clearance Certificate from BURS with PIN number and Certificate number for online verification.
5.  Letter of Commitment from the insurance company to provide Public Liability and Workman s compensation Insurance Covers indicating limit of covers Workman’s prior to commencement of the contract in the event of being awarded the tender.
6.  In case of Joint Ventures and Associations between 100% citizen owned firms, a legally binding intent to the Joint Venture / Association agreement, stating the lead company in such Joint Venture, must be submitted.  And FULLY complete the attached Joint Venture Form (if applicable).
7.  Name of the person and contact details: telephone and email address to be contacted in-case of any request for clarity on the submitted bid.
8.  Organisational structure including organisational chart, number of employees and positions.

In order to receive the RFP document, interested companies must follow the below steps;

1. Click on the payment button shown at the end of this advert. (Nonrefundable tender  fee is P1,120.00 (Vat Inclusive)
2. Follow the on-screen steps to complete payment for the tender.
3. The tender document will be automatically sent to your email once payment has been approved.

NB: If for any reason during the tender period it becomes necessary to vary the Tender Documents, an Addendum will be published in the website: https://www.ub.bw/connect/tenders   as and when such amendments are made. It is the sole responsibility of the bidders who have purchased the tender document from the website to keep themselves abreast of such amendments by continuously checking the website before submitting the tender document.
