INVITATION TO TENDER

The University of Botswana invites 100% citizen owned locally registered companies to submit EOI.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

•      The EOI is reserved for 100% citizen owned companies.

•      A supplier can bid for more than one (1) category.

•      All suppliers who have previously submitted profiles are required to register through this process.

•      Submissions that are not compliant shall not be considered.

•      Submission of all documents does not warrant inclusion in the database.

•      Prospective suppliers will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred in preparation of their submission.

•      Preference will be offered to the following categories: Women, Youth, People with Disability, Rural-based companies, and Vocational Skills.

•      Companies domiciled in the SPEDU Regions should provide proof.

•      Manufacturing companies based in SPEDU Region (Provide a copy of the 30 % off-take Agreement Certificate)

•      UB staff are not permitted to submit their profiles for inclusion in the database.

•      Board members of UB are prohibited from submitting their company documents for inclusion.

•      UB reserves the right to reject any, and all EOI’s or cancel the entire process.

NB: If for any reason during the tender period it becomes necessary to vary the Tender Documents, an Addendum will be published in the website: https://www.ub.bw/connect/tenders   as and when such amendments are made. It is the sole responsibility of the bidders to keep themselves abreast of such amendments by continuously checking the website before submitting the tender document.
