Currently a Business Management and Entrepreneurship Lecturer in Management Department since 2014, Ms. Jane Monyake has also worked for the University of Botswana since 1996 as a Part-Time Lecturer/Tutor for Cost and Financial Accounting, Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship & New Business Formation. Prior to joining UB, she worked for several years (more than two decades) in the public and private sectors holding various positions (including the position of a Chief Executive Officer), and has served in various boards in these sectors (e.g. BOMAID, Women Finance House Botswana, Junior Achievement Botswana, UB School of Public Health, Goodnews Ministries, Kwena Rocla, Bolux Milling, Makoro Brick & Tile, etc.  She has contributed to the various faculty and departmental projects and research efforts by co-authoring conference papers and journal articles in in the areas of entrepreneurship, strategic management, industrial relations, and tourism. She has also served in symposiums, conferences and workshops committees where she served as a reviewer, committee member, adjudicator, and facilitator/resource person (e.g. HRDC, BIH, SEZA).  Presently she serves as an External Moderator for College of Education Joint Examination Board (Business Management), the Chairperson of the Botswana Senior Secondary Business Management & Entrepreneurship Standing Committee, Advisory Board Member Tourism Licensing Board, and Adjudicator JAB National Best Business Exposé.
