Mr Phale worked at Mochudi Brigade as an Instructor for about 3 years. He then joined Department of Buildings as a Site Supervisor for a year. He later joined Bridec Education Centre as an Instructor for 1 year. He then joined Botswana Poly-technic as a Technical Officer and later promoted to the Senior Technician position in the Department of Civil Engineering from 1988 until 2013. He continued working as a Senior Technician at University of Botswana for the past 8 years. His main achievement was that he has trained and motivated about 10 Technician whom are now holding high positions in different universities in Botswana including BIUST and University of Botswana. He also contributes significantly to deliver marriage counseling to the University of Botswana employees and entire community.

Dr. Phambuka-Nsimbi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business, University of Botswana. She is a lecturer in International Business. She specializes in International Business, Export and Exporter-Distributor relationships issues.  She also acquired knowledge on the use of Business clusters as a way of improving economic development   when pursuing her PhD.  Phambuka-Nsimbi has published several journal articles in the area of International Business and related export issues.

Phambuka-Nsimbi main interests in teaching are mainly in relational to the International business environment,  International Marketing, International business and exporting issues.

Exporting, Exporter-distributor relationships, Tariff and non-tariff barriers, regional trade agreements and other international business issues.

With more than 27 years academic experience, my work and research have been in the areas of cost and management accounting, managerial control, and accounting ethics. This has included reviewing international journal, writing and editing teaching modules, and serving as external examiner and programme review to local and regional universities. I have also published my work in international journals. 

Over my career I has served business in the private sector and in non-profit entities as an as member of advisory boards, as a non-executive director, and consultant. Also assisted new and developing businesses in the development of business plans, training and mentoring of business participants, costing and pricing existing and new products, as well as assessing businesses and projects for funding.

I am a food and nutrition professional with vast experience in public health nutrition and food control especially in policy and programme planning, implementation and evaluation. I worked in the Ministry of Health Botswana 20 years. I am currently a food science and nutrition lecturer at the University of Botswana.

During the course of my work I participated in operational research activities, co-authored research outputs and presented at national and international conferences. My research interests are currently in food safety, household food security especially in low income communities as well as diet related non-communicable diseases.
