Prof. Eureka B. Mokibelo is an Associate Professor in the Communication and Study Skills Unit at the University of Botswana.  She taught Setswana for 15 years in Senior Secondary Schools of Botswana before joining the University in 2003. Dr Mokibelo taught in the department of Languages and Social Sciences Education from 2003 – 2006 and then joined the Communication and Study Skills Unit in 2007 to date. Her interest in research is in language-in education policy and practice, implementing language-in-education policy in linguistically and culturally diverse settings, language teaching and learning and teacher education.   She focuses on language education policy issues with regards to ethnic minority groups. She currently teaches, researches and consults in language-in-education policy and practice in Botswana. Also, she is the author of textbooks in language teaching and learning in Setswana language as well as literature at both junior and senior secondary schools in Botswana.

Prof Eureka Mokibelo teaches Communication and Study Skills  to first year students at the University of Botswana.  The courses are tailored to different faculties of the university such as Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Health Sciences,  Social Sciences and General Education Courses
