Mokganedi Zara Botlhomilwe is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Botswana. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom. His research interests are in the area of political sociology and he has published widely in this area. His publications have appeared in reputable academic journals such as Politea, African Review, Journal of Leadership and Journal of Contemporary African Studies.

He teaches courses in Political Sociology, Comparative Social Institutions, The Social Structure of Society, Classical Sociological Theory, African Social Thought, Social Problems in Southern Africa, and Politics and Society in Contemporary Africa.

His research interests are in the area of political sociology and he has published widely in this area. His publications have appeared in reputable academic journals such as Politea, African Review, Journal of Leadership and Journal of Contemporary African Studies.
