Mr Mburu is a senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing. Mr Mburu is a specialist in the marketing, having taught  under graduate and post graduate  classes on  Principles of Marketing, Marketing Strategy and Retailing for over 20 years . The areas of his specialization include; marketing strategy, internet marketing,  consumer behavior, and Distribution and supply Chain management.

He has published over 27 journal articles and presented in a number of conferences locally and abroad  in these areas. He has conducted several studies, some of them funded by organizations such as UNESCO and the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT, Netherlands)  and ORD UB. He has supervised and examined a number of research thesis  on the above areas.
