Mr Lopang Albert Mosupi graduated from the University of Botswana in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and later on furthered his studies to attain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2008. Mr Mosupi is currently the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance and Administration, the role he started since March 2019.

He started his professional career as an Auditor with Deloitte and Touche in 2000 until 2002 when he joined the then Ministry of Finance and Development Planning as Internal Auditor. He later on joined the University of Botswana in October 2003. During his stay at the University of Botswana, Mr Mosupi worked within the Financial Services Department and held several responsibilities that saw him progress through the ranks to become the Director of Finance in August 2017. 

Mr Mosupi is a chartered accountant registered with both ACCA and BICA. He has been admitted as a Fellow to the Global Academy of Finance and Management in December 2018 and certified by the same body as a Pensions Specialist. He currently serves as the Principal Officer of the University of Botswana Defined Contribution Pension Fund, Treasurer of the University of Botswana Foundation as well as the Chairperson of the University of Botswana Tender Committee.
