I have twenty years of experience in public health. I am a senior lecturer at the School of Public Health, University of Botswana; an international practitioner member of the Faculty of Public Health (IPFPH); and a technical advisory group member of the Africa CDC Health Informatics Fellowship Programme. My career includes significant contributions to medical informatics, telemedicine, road traffic accidents, HIV, sexual health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and drug and substance use. I am passionate about health promotion, epidemiology, data analytics, and the utilization of artificial intelligence in public health, and I am dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights that drive progress. I have a proven record of conducting studies that have influenced drug and substance use policies, supported by my strong foundation in public health and health informatics. I have co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on engaging and successful research projects with various international collaborators.
