Prof Mgadla was born in in Moroka Village in the North East District of Botswana. He atteneded primary school in Moroka Village and proceeded for seconndary education at Gaborone Secondary. He then proceeded to do Techears Training in Francistown after which he went to University of Botswana where he obtained a B.A degree majoring in History concurrently with a teaching certificate in EDucation. Prof Mgadla then got a scholarship to study African History in Boston USA where he obtained an MA degree and a PhD. in hstory respectively. Currently Prof Mgadla teaches History in the History Department, Faculty of Humanities.

I teach Botswana, Sothern, and Central African history.

Mission, Educational, Political and Admnistrative History, as well as Southern African Liberation History

I can, and have, supervised both unergraduate students in the reseach areas above. Currently am supervising an PhD International student enrolled with the History Department, University of Botswana
