Lone Seboni is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Botswana. He won a Fulbright scholarship offered by the US department of State, to represent Botswana in USA. He has over 5 years teaching experience at University level, with responsibility for designing and delivering lectures, labs and tutorials to students in different programs. He Spent 2 years on the Barclays Africa Leadership Program for talented candidates, successfully completing various leadership development initiatives, including external interventions with executives across Barclays Africa and Middle East. He spent a further 2 years as country implementation manager and successfully managed key Barclays Group projects and programs such as Africa Retail Credit Risk Capability Development, Barclay Scorecard, Cell phone banking and Debt management system enhancement. Global experience includes working as a production engineer in a multi-functional customer focused team of professionals in key business projects at Brose Ltd, Coventry (UK), where he played a role to facilitate the Brose Ltd factory re-organization project for acquisition of new business, with a turnover of £20 million. His specialization and research interests include: project management, operations research and multi-criteria decision making. He has published in both peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, including presentations of research outputs.
