Dr. Minyoi is a Town Planner by profession, having started as a Trainee Planner in 1989 in the then Ministry of Local Government and Lands, Department of Town and Regional Planning, and as a Practitioner from 1994 to 1999. Then joined the academia (University of Botswana) in 1999 as a Staff Development Fellow and becoming a Lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning in 2002.
