Dr Mogotsi is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems, currently domiciled in the Department of Accounting & Finance. Previously, he taught Information & Knowledge Management courses in the Department of Library & Information Studies, also here at the University of Botswana. He served as Head/Chair of the Department of Accounting & Finance in the period January 2015 through December 2017. Before joining the University of Botswana, he spent a decade working as an IT practitioner initially at the (Botswana) Department of Water of Affairs, but also in the banking sector (Botswana’s National Development Bank), and latterly as a consultant specializing mainly in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He has been with the University of Botswana since March 2000.
