Dr. Debbie Tebogo Marman

Certificate in Interpersonal & Communication Studies, Automotive Training College, Gaborone.

Debbie Marman majored in English & African Languages for her Bachelors Degree.  She attained her MA not long after completing her PGDE at UB. Debbie studied for her MA (Theatre Studies) under the supervision of Dr Thulaganyo Tony Mogobe tutored by among others Professor Kerr, the late Dr F-K Omoregie and Professor Melamu. She later joined UB as a lecturer after about nine years of teaching in secondary schools. She attained her PhD from the University of Reading in England under the supervision of Prof Emeritus Lib Taylor and Prof Teresa Murjas. Debbie has taught literature and theatre courses in the Department of English before the establishment of the Department of Visual & Performing Arts in 2013.
