I  received BEng. in mechanical engineering from the University of Botswana, in 1996 and MSc. Degree in Thermal Power and Fluids Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). I received PhD in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of Pretoria in 2008, and got a Golden Key International Award for excellence in research. I am currently employed by University of Botswana as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and have researched and published extensively in the area of mechanical engineering and aeronautical. I have supervised graduate many students at a level of MSc and PhD. I have designed and supervised projects of big magnitude while working for Kentz Botswana and G4 Consulting Engineers. I have previously developed solutions for slurry pipe blockages and inefficient separation in DMS cyclones for application to mine processes. I have sufficient knowledge of managing the organization, organizational behavior, financial management and strategic management, gained through experience and personal development. I have served UB as a member of Senate, Faculty Executive Committee, Faculty Promotions and Review Committee, acting HOD. I am currently a Board Member for Botswana Power Corporation and also serving as a Deputy Chairman in the same Board.
