Ms Maswabi joined the department of Marketing in 2014 and has since been teaching various marketing courses such as  Brand Management and Public Relations.Prior to joining the University of Botswana, she held various Marketing and Customer Service positions including Product Development Officer, Customer Care Officer, Marketing Specialist , Relationship Manager as well as Communications and Advocacy Specialist where she was responsible for amongst other things Marketing, Communications and branding. She boasts a wealth of knowledge and over 17 years’ experience in marketing and stakeholder relationship management, brand development and management, advocacy and communications. Ms Maswabi is a Botswana Qualifications Authority accredited trainer in advocacy.She is in possession of a Masters in Business Leadership from University of South Africa and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Botswana.

Current research interest lies in branding and communications, consumer behaviour as well as library advocacy.
