Patrick M. Lekgetho is a media and communication scholar based at the University of Botswana, where he is affiliated with the Department of Media Studies. His academic and professional interests span digital media, film and television production, media education, cultural industries, and the intersections of media, society, and development in African contexts. He has contributed to research, curriculum development, and public engagement initiatives focusing on digital transformation, creative economies, and media policy in Botswana. Lekgetho has also been involved in documentary development, media training, and collaborative projects linking academia, industry, and public institutions. His current work explores digital media access, education, and innovation in Botswana and the Global South.
