Dr Moeti is a committed counsellor educator and researcher in the Department of Educational Foundations, Counselling section at the University of Botswana. She teaches both undergraduate and post graduate courses and provides clinical supervision during practicum and internship exercises, and teaching practice. Besides teaching, Dr Moeti offers premarital counselling to couples preparing for marriage and provides support to individuals facing diverse life challenges, particularly marital and relationship issues. She has actively participated in and presented at numerous conferences both locally and internationally.
Dr Moeti specializes in relational and holistic approaches to counselling with a strong foundation in premarital counselling, couples counselling and guidance and counselling, integrating systemic therapy, holistic therapy, indigenous wisdom and spiritual practices into counselling practice to promote healing, unity and resilience in individuals and families. She helps couples recognize patterns from family of origin that influence current relationships, and break negative cycles, and build healthier relational foundations. Her holistic approach ensures counselling is culturally sensitive and spiritually grounded.

Her academic and research interests focus on qualitative research methodology in counsellor education, marriage and couples counselling, premarital and post marital counselling (western based and indigenous approaches), Guidance and Counselling and supervision. She also has interest in exploring the integration of indigenous knowledge systems and spirituality into modern & counselling frameworks.
