Duties: Successful applicants will be expected to: (i) prepare materials for undergraduate practical sessions; (ii) demonstrate clinical laboratory science skills to students during practical sessions; (iii) maintain acceptable safety standards in the laboratories and associated working areas; (iv) handle human biological specimens; (v) demonstrates the correct use of equipment to students during laboratory sessions; (vi) cleaning up after practical sessions. (vii) the position reports to the Senior Technician.
Requirements: A Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or Cytotechnology and Histotechnology Sciences or any related field. Flexibility to work during the day. At least 3 years working experience in the field of Non-Gynaecology Cytology. Registered with Botswana Health Professions Council as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Good technical and communication skills.
