TEMPORARY FULL-TME LECTURER (ECONOMICS) – 2 POSITIONS (7 MONTHS CONTRACT)(Citizens Only)

DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

VACANCY No. IRC 2027

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate economics courses and be able to supervise research students. In addition, the applicant must have demonstrable capacity to teach at least one of the following courses:  Health Economics, Economics of Agriculture and Agricultural Policy, Public Sector Economics, and Transport Economics. Ability to teach quantitative methods will be an added advantage. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to these.

Requirements:  A Doctorate in Economics or related discipline. Engagement in research; social and governance activities; and teaching experience at a comparable institution will be an added advantage.

N.B. In special circumstances, a Master in Economics or related discipline with a Bachelor in Economics or related discipline of at least 2.1 or equivalent may be considered.
