Duties: The successful candidate will be required to assist with the teaching of courses in the Urban and Regional Planning programme. Other duties include assisting students with practicals and tutorials in GIS and planning theory and practical courses, and carry out any other duties assigned by the HOD.
Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) A minimum of B.A. or BSc Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or any cognate subject; (ii) A minimum of 2(ii) or a GPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale; (iii) All applicants, except those with a degree in GIS should have an average of at least 65% in GIS, Remote Sensing and/or Planning Theory courses. (iv) Demonstrable experience with GIS, CAD and any other planning support systems. University teaching experience or professional practice will be an added advantage.
