RE-ADVERTISEMENT - TEMPORARY FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LECTURER (TWO YEAR CONTRACT)
Applications are invited for the position of Temporary full-time/Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The successful candidates will be required to teach courses on the degree programmes in Design and Technology Education and Industrial Design, e.g., Product Analysis, Product Design, Computer-Aided Design, Computer-Aided Manufacture, Design of Structures and Mechanisms, as well as supervise student projects, industrial training and any other duties assigned by the Department.
Requirements: Candidates should have (i) at least a Master’s degree in Engineering Design or related fields, (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Design or equivalent, plus a relevant or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be will be added advantages.
Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
