Duties: The successful candidates will be required to: (i) assist with the teaching of courses in the Urban and Regional Planning programme. Other duties include to assist students with and practicals and tutorials in GIS and other planning techniques and practical courses, and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants must have (i) A minimum of B.A or BSc Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or any cognate subject; (ii) A minimum of 2(ii) or GPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale; (iii) All applicants, except those with a degree in GIS should have an average of at least 65% in GIS, Remote Sensing and Planning Techniques courses; (iv) Demonstrable experience with GIS, CAD and any other planning support systems. A minimum of one year university teaching experience or two years of professional practice will be an added advantage.
NB: Shortlisted applicants will be called for interview where they will present their portfolios and demonstrate their GIS, CAD and any other planning support systems skills.
