Applications are invited for the position of Temporary Full -Time Demonstrator (Physics with Meteorology) in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Assist Academic staff with teaching activities in Physics with Meteorology, especially in demonstrating use of various specialized equipment to students (ii) be able to independently setup an automatic weather station (iii) Assist students with microclimate data collection, processing and interpretation (v) Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department, or any staff member assigned to supervise the candidate.
Requirements: Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences or related discipline/s. Acquaintance with Campbell Scientific processing software programs will be an added advantage.
