TEMPORARY FULL TIME DEMONSTRATOR, DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES

FACULTY OF EDUCATION

VACANCY NO: FE/FCS 1/2021: TEMPORARY FULL TIME DEMONSTRATOR, DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES 1 position (9 months contract) (Re-advertisement)

Duties: The successful applicant will be responsible for (i) Preparing, demonstrating and supervising practical lessons; (ii) Grading Laboratory exercises; (iii) Performing demonstrations during the practical lessons and (iv) Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics/ FCS or a related field with a specialisation in: (ii) Human Development, Family and Consumer Studies (Early Childhood Development); (iii) Candidate should be able to work with children under 5 years old and must have a track record; (iv) Candidate should have knowledge of operating laboratory equipment in the area; (v). Preference will be given to current Graduate Students in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
