TEACHING ASSISTANTS - PSYCHOLOGY

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES - DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY

VACANCY NO: FSS/PSY 02/2022 - TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Teaching Assistants in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Duties: The successful candidates will be expected to (i) assist with tutorials and assignments; (ii) perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. They will work under the supervision of the Head of Department to achieve the mission and objectives of the Departmental and the University.  

 

Requirements:  Prospective candidates must have: (i) a minimum of an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology with at least a 2(ii) pass or equivalent; sound knowledge of psychology, research methods and statistics, and very good communications skills.  Experience in conducting tutorials and a Master’s Degree in Psychology will be an added advantage.   

Remuneration: As per approved University of Botswana part time rate.
