TEACHING ASSISTANTS

VACANCY NO. FSc/M 3/2021

Applications are invited for positions of Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics for the period August 2021 to 31st May 2022.

Duties: The successful candidates will be expected to: (i) assist teaching staff with teaching activities in the Department such as teaching of laboratory practicals and tutorials, (ii) mark laboratory reports and other assessments (assignments, quizzes and tests), (iii) handle tutorials, (iv) perform any other duties/responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants must possess at least BA/BSc Degree in Mathematics.  Being a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics and teaching experience at a University or comparable Institution will be an added advantage.
