TEACHING ASSISTANTS, DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGY

FACULTY OF SCIENCE

VACANCY NO. FSc/G IRC 914: TEACHING ASSISTANTS, DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGY  

Duties: Successful candidates will be required to assist with the teaching of Laboratory practicals, including field excursions, and tutorials in Geology under the supervision of academic staff. Other duties may include marking of laboratory reports and tutorials under strict guidance given by academic staff, and to perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time. 

Requirements:  Applicants must possess at least a B.Sc. degree in Geology or a closely related and relevant field. Preference will be given to new postgraduate students enrolled in the department and continuing postgraduate students who have shown evidence of good progress in their studies.
