TEACHING ASSISTANTS (8 Positions) - ECONOMICS

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES - DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

VACANCY NO: FSS/E 1/2022 - TEACHING ASSISTANTS (8 positions)

 

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Teaching Assistants in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Duties: The successful candidates will assist the course lecturers at Undergraduate level in their tutorial work for the Academic Year 2022/23.  The selected candidates will be under the supervision of the Departmental tutorial coordinator, course instructor and Head of Department with the aim to achieve the Department\s teaching requirements.

 

Requirements: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or combined major Economics,  with at least a 2(ii). Previous teaching experience, strong quantitative background and/or Masters’ Degree shall be an added advantage.  Preference will be given to current Graduate Economics.

Remuneration: The University of Botswana offers a competitive fixed hourly rate.
