TEACHING ASSISTANT IN PUBLIC RELATIONS AND ADVERTISING (1 POST)

VACANCY NO. FH/ MS 7/2020

To provide support and instruction for Public Relations and Advertising in the Department of Media Studies, to work with the course lecturer in Print Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising courses and any other related areas as requested by the supervisor. Specific duties include guiding students in graphics design, the production of student newspaper, and other publications such as newsletters, magazines, fliers and posters.

Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations /Media Studies/ Communication or related field with at least 2(i) pass / GPA of at least 3.6; (ii) a strong background in public relations, advertising and desktop publishing; (iii) teaching experience at University level, familiarity with Mac (Apple) operating systems and knowledge of Adobe In Design will be added advantages.

Each candidate must specify the area for which his or her application should be considered.

Remuneration:  As per approved part time rates.
