TEACHING ASSISTANT - CHILDREN’S DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY

VACANCY NO: FE/FSC 1/2020 TEACHING ASSISTANT - CHILDREN’S DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY (4 MONTHS CONTRACT)

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) facilitate the learning process of young children from the age of 0-5 years; (ii) to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, which is multi-cultural and relevant for young children; (iii) Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements: (i) Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics/Family and Consumer Sciences with an area of emphasis in Early Childhood /Early Childhood Development; (ii) The following will be added advantages; (i) experience in working with young children in a preschool setting; (ii) a teaching permit for 0-5 years or evidence of submission of application for teaching permit and (iii) master’s degree in Early Childhood Development.

Remuneration: The University offers competitive rates and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
