INTERSECTIONAL STIGMA STUDY
RESEARCH ASSISTANT

(1 POSITION: FULL-TIME FOR 1 YEAR FIXED CONTRACT)
The Intersectional Stigma Study at the University of Botswana/Sbrana Psychiatric Hospital is looking for an experienced Research Assistant with keen interest in mental health research to join our team.
Duties: the successful candidate is expected to: (i) carry out participant recruitment and follow up; (ii) carry out data collection and support data management (iii) perform blood draws and transport them to the lab (iv) offer administrative support to research coordinator; and (v) assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements: applicant should have: (i) Degree in any field; (ii) Certification in phlebotomy/blood draws (optional if degree is in a clinical health profession); and (iii) a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience.
Added advantage: formal training in research and experience conducting research related to health services
Remuneration: the Research Study offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
