LECTURER IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (CONTRACT POSITION)

VACANCY NO. IRC 1009

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. (i) supervise undergraduate projects but may be assigned to supervise graduate dissertations (ii) carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.

Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) a Doctorate in Early Childhood Education or related area; (ii) evidence of engagement in research. The following will be added advantages: (i) teaching experience at a university or comparable institution; (ii) evidence of governance and social engagement.

N.B. In special circumstances a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related may be considered provided the candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields with at least a 2(i) (CGPA of at least 3.6/5) or equivalent.
