POST DOCTORAL FELLOW- (1 POSITION FULL-TIME FOR 1-YEAR FIXED CONTRACT)

VACANCY NO: FM/TD01/2024

Duties: the successful candidate is expected to: (i) work in Thibang Diphatlha implementation research project and supplementary studies; (ii) participate in assembling datasets, designing, and implementing analyses, and interpretation of results; (iii) prepare academic presentations; (iv) present research results at (inter)national conferences; (v) collaborate on the writing of manuscripts and publications relevant to the project; (vi) participate in grant writing; (vii) carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Principal Investigator or study team.

Requirements: applicants should (i) hold a PhD in Public Health, Health Science or any health-related discipline; (ii) have accurate knowledge and skills in quantitative research methods; (iii) have accurate knowledge and skills in a statistical program such as Stata, SPSS, R, and interest in learning new ones;

Experience: (i) must have completed PhD in the past five (5) years; (ii) must have experience in publishing research results.

Added advantage:  (i) knowledge of qualitative/mixed methods; (ii) experience with implementation science/research.

Competencies: the candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills in English.  Must be well organized, have excellent planning skills and capacity for teamwork.
