AREA: Additive Manufacturing
Applications are invited for the position of Demonstrators in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The Department offers courses in the area of Additive Manufacturing to the students of Bachelor of Design & Technology Education and Bachelor of Industrial Design programmes. A Demonstrator is required to instruct and demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses. Additive manufacturing includes: 3D printing, rapid prototyping, selective laser sintering, additive fabrication, computer-aided design and computer-aided Manufacture.
Requirements: Applicants must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology, Industrial Design, Additive manufacturing and/or any related field. A minimum of 2 years work experience in the area is a requirement. University level demonstration experience will be an added advantage.
