The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for part‑time tutoring in Foundations of Business Law and Introduction to Company Law within the Business Degree Programmes offered through distance education.
Duties: The successful applicants will be expected to engage in tutorials, setting and invigilating tests/examinations, marking and other related duties in the above course, for the academic year 2025/2026, Semester 2.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a PhD or Doctorate in the relevant area of specialization; (ii) Masters’ Degree (or professional qualification) in the relevant area of specialization; (iii) Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant area of specialization; (iv) show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in the relevant fields and teaching experience at a University or comparable institution as well as demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages. Applicants should indicate the course/s in which they are competent. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in tutoring distance learners.
N.B. Applicants with a relevant Master’s Degree and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
