PART-TIME / TEMPORARY FULL TIME LECTURER IN PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION
VACANCY NO: FH/MS2/2021
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate level courses in Public Relations and Integrated Communication studies (ii) supervise undergraduate student’s projects (in media studies) as need may arise; (iii) participate in the academic, governance and social engagement in media related fields; (iv) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: the candidate should possess: (i) a Doctorate in Media Studies or related field, (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. (iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement in media related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B A Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Advertising and /or Communication related fields may be considered provided that the applicant has a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies or related disciplines with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent.
