PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS (5 POSITIONS)

VACANCY NO: FET/ME 1/2020

The University of Botswana, Department of Mechanical Engineering, is seeking Part-time Teaching Assistants for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to: (i) assist lecturers in class preparations and administrative work; (ii) assist with laboratory practicals and mark laboratory reports; (iii) perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field from a recognized university or equivalent institution with a pass equivalent of 2.2 or better; (ii) experience in the laboratory and teaching experience will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to those enrolled in the department’s graduate programmes.

Remuneration: As per approved University of Botswana part-time rates.
