PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS – FINANCE

VACANCY: FB/A & F 3/2021

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to conduct tutorials in the areas of Business Finance, Financial Management, Financial Statements Analysis, Financial Planning and Forecasting, Principles of Risk Management and Insurance. Tutorials are typically conducted during the day, between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs. Other duties include setting practice exercises, marking tutorial exercises, invigilation and any other assignments as maybe given by the Head of Department or an immediate supervisor.

Requirements: Candidates must have at minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related area with a minimum of 2(i) or 3.6 GPA. Applicants should indicate their availability during the period of 08:00hrs – 17:00hrs during which tutorials are normally run. Experience of teaching at a University level will be an added advantage. Applicants should indicate the subjects in which they are competent.

Remuneration:  The University of Botswana offers competitive part-time rates.
