Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Part-time Sport Coach (Soccer Coach) in the Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Supervise, coordinates and schedules practice sessions for the University teams; (ii) Assists in recommending team leadership (captains) of University soccer teams; (iii) Coaches and prepares the University teams for various competitions and tournaments (National League and Tertiary Championships); (iv) Coordinates soccer coaching programmes and organises sporting activities for the University of Botswana community; (v) Prepares monthly reports; (vi) Candidates must be prepared to work at weekends, including public holidays
Requirements: Candidates should have (i) a Diploma in any educational field and track record of SOCCER coaching (ii) Level 1 coaching certificate or above (ii) At least two year coaching experience at National leagues (iii) previous coaching experience at the University level as well as the ability to communicate clearly in English and understanding group dynamics will be added advantage.
