The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the posts of Part-Time Lecturers to teach at the Gaborone Centre.

Duties: The successful applicants will be expected to engage in teaching virtually using Microsoft Teams, setting and invigilating tests/examinations, marking and other related duties in the DABS programme.

Requirements: Applicants should have (i) a relevant Master’s Degree in the respective subject/s; (ii) a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in the respective subject/s with at least a second class, first division (2.1) pass/ GPA of at least; 3.6; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD will be an added advantage, so will academic leadership and teaching experience at a University or comparable institution. The CV should inter alia, provide a detailed list of courses (if any) ever taught and the levels at which they were taught, as well as research and publications where applicable. However, a first degree in accounting or Business Studies, related areas with relevant experience will also be considered in the absence of Master’s Degree holders. Applicants should already be resident in Botswana holding a valid residence permit (if non-citizen).
