Part-time Lecturer in Real Estate (2 positions)

Duration:

Six (6) months

Duties: 

The successful candidate is expected to: i) Teach undergraduate level courses in Real Estate which comprises any of the following fields: valuation, facilities management, rating, estate agency, housing economies, land economics and/or property development appraisal. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses besides those outlined above; ii) undertake any other duties assigned to him/ her by the supervisor or head of the department

Requirements:

Applicants should have: (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Property Investment Appraisal, Land Economics or related fields from a recognized University; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Land Management and Valuation, Land Economics or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6;(iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) Membership of the Real Estate Institute of Botswana or membership of any international recognized institute; v) a relevant PhD or similar professional qualifications, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
