PART-TIME LECTURER POSITION IN PHARMACY PRACTICE: 1 YEAR CONTRACT (2 POSITIONS)

The University of Botswana invites suitable candidates to apply for the position of Part-time Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy.

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) undertake the teaching of Pharmacy Practice courses in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) programme; (ii) supervise and mentor learners; (iii) participate in administrative and non-administrative assignments as may be delegated by the supervisor/ head of department.

Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a Doctorate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) evidence of governance and social engagement in Pharmacy Practice related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. Relevant Master’s Degree or equivalent may be considered provided that the applicant has a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent.

Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
