PART-TIME LECTURER IN PHARMACY– (CONTRACT POSITION)

The University of Botswana invites suitable candidates to apply for the position of Part-time Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy.

Main purpose of the job: to coordinate and teach pharmacology course (part-time).

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) undertake the teaching of pharmacology course in the School of Pharmacy; (ii) support learning activity through tutorials and workshops (iii) Assess work and progress of students. (iv) Moderate examinations papers and results (v) supervise and mentor learners

Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a Doctorate in Pharmacy or equivalent; (ii) a Master’ degree or equivalent in the area of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics or related (iii) a relevant first degree in Pharmacy (iv) show evidence of engagement in research; (v) evidence of governance and social engagement in Pharmacy Practice related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B candidates with a Master’s in Pharmacology, Clinical pharmacy and therapeutics or related courses as the highest degree may be considered provided that the applicant has a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent.
