PART-TIME LECTURER IN MEDIA STUDIES (BROADCASTING)

VACANCY NO. FH/MS 5/2020

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate level courses in radio and television broadcasting; (ii) supervise undergraduate student’s projects (in media studies) as need may arise; (iii) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: The candidate should: (i) have a Doctorate in Media Studies or related field; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. Hands on experience in radio and television broadcasting, evidence of governance and social engagement in media related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. Applicants with a Master’s Degree in Media Arts or related fields with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies or related disciplines of at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent may be considered.
