PART-TIME LECTURER IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (1 Semester)

VACANCY NO: IRC 1041 -  PART-TIME LECTURER IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING (1 Semester)

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Electronics Engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

Duties:  The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. The candidate should be able to: (i) teach Electronics Courses; (ii) supervise undergraduate student research projects; (iii) conduct research in Industrial Engineering and complement existing research activities in the area; (iv) participate in other academic and professional activities of the department; (v) render professional service and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:  Applicants should have: (i) a PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. In special circumstances a Masters’ Degrees in Electronics Engineering with significant research output and industry experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, of at least 2(i) or equivalent may be considered.
