PART TIME LECTURER IN CONTROL AND INSTRUMENTATION

VACANCY NO. FET/ME1/2022

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of a Part Time Lecturer in Control and Instrumentation.

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach students Systems and Control Engineering to mechanical engineering students at undergraduate level.

Requirements: Applicants should possess; (i) a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. The following will be added advantages: (i) evidence of Governance and Social Engagement; (ii) teaching experience at a University or comparable institution.

N.B In special circumstances a Master of Science in Systems and Control Engineering or equivalent with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered.
